KANO STATE GOVT TO TRANSFORM STATE TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS

Kano State government has assured its readiness to transform the State – owned tertiary institutions aimed to provide sound personnel’s in government agencies and private organizations.
This was stated by the Commissioner for Higher Education Dr. Mariya Mahamoud Bunkure when she paid a familiarization tour to Abdu Bako College Agriculture, Danbatta.
The Commissioner was accompanied with her directors expressed her appreciation for the warm reception accorded to her.
Dr. Mariya Bunkure, used the opportunity to call on all stakeholders to complement government effort by contributing their quota in uplifting the standard of the education to the greater height.
Earlier, the Provost of the college, Prof. AM Wailare said the familiarization visit by the Commissioner is a clear testimony of her zeal and commitment towards transforming the State- owned institutions in the state and assured all necessary support from the leaders of the institutions with a view to achieve better results.
