Ganduje advocates inter-ethnic national integration

Kano State Governor Dr Abdulahi Ganduje, and his wife, Prof. Hafsat Ganduje, with a retinue of associates from Kano State, stormed the Delta community of Olomu, where he and his wife were conferred with chieftaincy titles.

The titles were conferred on them by the Ohworode of the ancient Olomu Kingdom and Chairman, Urhobo Traditional Council, Delta State, His Royal Majesty, Ovie Ogoni, Oghoro 1.

Ganduje’s title of Olorogun Ejerukugbe of Olomu means let’s work together, while his wife’s Olorogun Omarmoraye of Olomu translates to good woman.

The installation ceremony took place at the royal palace of the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom amidst a large turnout of chiefs, top government officials from Kano State, family members of Ganduje, politicians and well-meaning members of Olomu Kingdom.

Ganduje, in his acceptance speech shortly after receiving his chieftaincy, described the moment as historic.
