A Federal High Court restrains Kano State Government from taking action on Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II

A Federal High Court sitting in Kano has restrained Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, the State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission with the Attorney General from acting on the Preliminary Report of Investigation in Respect of Petition of Financial Misappropriation against Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II.
The Presiding Judge , Justice Obiora Atuegwu Egwuatu gave the order in a motion Exparte filed by Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II dated June 7th against Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission , Governor of Kano and  the state Attorney General.

In the order granted on Tuesday, Justice Obiora Atuegwu Egwuatu directed service of the restraining order on the Defendants in the suit through publication or on the Attorney General of Kano state.
The Judge then adjourned to June 28th, 2019 for the hearing of the motion on notice.
